this is mostly for my embroidery and various other stuff I like. Most of my stitching is one of a kind and most of it is listed in my Etsy shop - if you see something of mine you can't live without, let me know.

another Willow Bird Baking challenge, this time was to do something new with braided dough - the original was raspberry almond, I decided to make mine a side dish with dinner because I found some feta in the refrigerator today and if I didn’t use it for dinner, I’d just eat it by itself.. I mixed olives, baby spinach, feta, some spices and a little bit of olive oil, then topped it with olives and a little grated Myzithra cheese (because I had a little chunk of it leftover from a dinner last week and that stuff is too expensive to waste… also… cheese, am I right? Can there be too much of it?)
If you’re not familiar with Willow Bird Baking (and you are a fan of delicious flavor), you should familiarize yourself. Julie makes super delicious stuff and demystifies scary recipes you’d never think you could make otherwise (you guys, I learned to make croissants from her - CROISSANTS!!!!!)
She just announced a 5 week challenge that encourages people to get creative in the kitchen.
The first challenge was to do something interesting with cinnamon rolls (and photograph it) - I made oatmeal apple cinnamon rolls with vanilla bean caramel glaze (okay, the glaze isn’t really REALLY caramel, just brown sugar and butter cooked down together, but still, so good). Come at me, bro.
They are yummy and I’m calling them almost healthy because they have oatmeal in the dough and apples in the middle - those two things are healthy, right? They totally counteract the gallon of melted butter in it, right? Right?
